As project delivery models, regulatory frameworks, supply chains, and technology continue to evolve, our ability to stay flexible and agile in our construction approach is essential to our success.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directs and manages junior project managers, either within the organization structure of a large capital project or multiple smaller projects.</li>\n <li>Fosters client relationships and resolves issues escalated by junior project managers.</li>\n <li>Guides project teams through the collaborative delivery process.</li>\n <li>Manages project lifecycle from procurement through preconstruction, construction, and close out.</li>\n <li>Coordinates corporate resources to the benefit of project success.</li>\n <li>Recruits, trains, and develops junior staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 10 years of relevant project delivery experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.</li>\n <li>Must have GC/CM or similar collaborative project delivery model experience.</li>\n <li>Extensive expeirence executing complex water/wastewater heavy civil construction projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Concrete structures, MSE Walls, Rail, Transit, Wastewater project expeirence. </li>\n <li>Experience working with clients in the greater northern California region.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders.</li>\n <li>Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks.</li>\n <li>Highly organized with excellent time management skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skill.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Information:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.</li>\n <li>This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The salary range for this position is between<strong> $220,000 - $270,000</strong> per year depending on experience and/or education.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shimmick's comprehensive benefits plan includes medical, dental and vision coverage; as well as options to participate in an FSA or HSA. The Company also provides employer paid STD, LTD, basic life and AD&D, and an Employee Assistance Program. Additional voluntary benefit offerings include pet insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, legal and identity theft protection.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week.
