    "description": "<h2>Position Title</h2>Virtual Nurse/Nursing Care Partner (Per-Diem)\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><b>Purpose & Scope:</b></p>\n<p>Across inpatient Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), the registered Virtual Nurse/Nursing Care Partner is responsible for the indirect nursing care of their assigned patients. The position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associations, are inherent in the position. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for this position. The Vitrual Nurse/Nursing Care Partner is expected to collaborate members of the healthcare team and communicate with patients via eremote technology  in order to provide goal-directed care. The Virtual Nurse/Nursing Care partner will be completing tasks such as, but not limited to,  patient admission assessments, patient education and discharge teaching via remote technology.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Education:</b></p>\n<p>Bachelor's in Nursing Required, or</p>\n<p>Associate's in Nursing Required</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Experience:</b></p>\n<p>Two years of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting is required, 5 years preferred</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Certification/Licensure:</b></p>\n<p>Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required or, Compact State Licensure in Nursing required</p>\n<p>BLS certification required</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>ACLS or PALS cards stand as showing competence in BLS Skills per American Heart Association Guidelines. If an employee holds current ACLS or PALS certification, this meets the requirement for BLS in their job description. They do not need to also carry a separate BLS certification.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Skills Knowledge and Abilities</b></p>\n<p>Computer Skills: Typing Words per Minute 60+</p>\n<p>Basic dysrhythmia knowledge, preferred</p>\n<p>Proficient with EHR systems, EPIC preferred</p>",
