Carfair Composites Composite Operator

Position Summary: As a Composite Operator at Carfair, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of composite components, using a variety of materials and manufacturing techniques to meet production and quality standards.
Wage: $22.75
Responsibilities:
Prepare molds and composite materials for production processes.
Perform lamination, hand lay ups, and other composite manufacturing techniques.
Apply resin and fiberglass layers as per specifications.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to shape and finish composite parts.
Perform quality inspections to ensure components meet standards.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and continuous improvement goals.
Participate in training and development activities.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in composite manufacturing or related field is an advantage.
Familiarity with fiberglass, resins, and composite materials.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to safely handle and use various hand and power tools.
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Self motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
