    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Overall Job Function:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting daily operations at the grain and agronomy facility, including the safe and efficient handling, storage, and shipment of grain, as well as assisting with agronomy product distribution and application support. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><p>Receive, sample, weigh, and grade incoming grain loads.</p><p>Operate and maintain grain handling equipment (elevators, conveyors, dryers, legs, and bins).</p><p>Load and unload trucks, and other transport vehicles.&nbsp;</p><p>Monitor grain quality, moisture, and temperature; perform blending as required.</p><p>Maintain accurate records of grain movement and inventory.</p><p>Assist with facility housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections.</p><p>Agronomy Operations:</p><p>Assist with the handling, blending, and loading of fertilizer and crop protection products.</p><p>Support custom applicators and agronomy sales staff with product logistics.</p><p>Operate equipment such as tender trucks, forklifts, loaders, and mixing systems.</p><p>Maintain chemical and fertilizer storage areas in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.</p><p>Deliver products to customers as needed (Class A or B CDL preferred).</p><p><strong>Secondary Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures (OSHA, DOT, EPA).</p><p>Participate in training and safety meetings.</p><p>Support other team members during peak seasons (planting and harvest).</p><p>Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.</p><p>Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.</p><p>All other duties assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Competencies:</strong></p><p>High level of customer service focus</p><p>Supports a consistent professional image of the company.</p><p>Observes safety policy and procedure as an absolute&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Attitude of positivity and reacts calmly under pressure.</p><p>Good listening and communication skills.</p><p>Work ethic of the highest integrity.</p><p>Commitment to dependability and willingness to work to meet goals and deadlines.</p><p>&nbsp;Effectively solve problems.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or agricultural training preferred.</p><p>Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.</p><p>Ability to work extended hours and weekends during peak seasons.</p><p>CDL or ability to obtain one preferred.</p><p>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This position is based in a fast-paced office setting. &nbsp;Equipment utilized will be a computer, phone, fax, copy machine and other standard office equipment. &nbsp;Typical office hours are Monday to Friday 8 to 5. &nbsp;Occasional hours between 7 am and 8 pm.
