Description
Sonalysts, Inc is seeking an experienced systems engineer with critical thinking and effective communication skills to perform systems engineering support to DOD weapon acquisition program. The successful candidate will have experience with managing Systems Engineering Technical Reviews throughout the acquisition cycle. The candidate will be able to effectively communicate across multiple organization and facilitate resolution of issues.
What you will be doing:
Facilitate working groups , integrated product teams and program review meetings
Analyze and manage actions, risks and schedule
Collaborate with a multidiscipline group of experts to solve challenging problems
Participate in all areas of program development including requirements management, testing, qualification, certification and fielding to the fleet
Support the implementation and maintenance of model-based systems engineering
Majority of work must be performed on site at Sonalysts or government facilities

Required Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, systems, electrical, computer, etc.)
5- 10 years experience in systems engineering support to DOD acquisition program
Strongly Desired Experience/Qualifications:
Possessing an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
Experience with model-based systems engineering (Cameo Systems Modeler experience preferred)
*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
