Cretex is looking for an ERP Business Analyst to serve as the functional architect of our Epicor Kinetic environment. In this role, you won’t just manage a system, you will optimize the engine that powers our financial operations—from streamlining month-end closes to architecting custom business logic—you will partner directly with leadership to ensure our technology matches our ambition.</p>\n<p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact</strong></p>\n<p>· <strong>Be the Epicor Subject Matter Expert</strong>: Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Epicor Kinetic, specifically focusing on Finance modules (GL, AP/AR, Asset Management, and Cost Accounting).</p>\n<p>· <strong>Bridge Business & Tech</strong>: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into sleek, functional technical requirements.</p>\n<p>· <strong>Optimize Financial Workflows</strong>: Identify bottlenecks in forecasting and closing processes, implementing automated solutions that save time and increase data integrity.</p>\n<p>· <strong>Drive Data-Driven Decisions</strong>: Use DMT (Data Management Tool) and SQL to ensure seamless data migration, system upgrades, and high-level reporting accuracy.</p>\n<p>· <strong>Lead Quality Assurance</strong>: Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, ensuring every update or customization is bulletproof before it hits production.</p>\n<p>· <strong>Empower the Team:</strong> Create high-quality documentation and lead training sessions that turn end-users into Epicor power users.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Requirements Gathering</strong></p>\n<p>· Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, document, and refine business requirements, while analyzing current business processes and workflows to identify and recommend improvement opportunities.</p>\n<p><strong>System Design and Build</strong></p>\n<p>· Design, build and implement software solutions that address identified business needs and requirements.</p>\n<p>· Configure the ERP system to meet finance business process needs. If needed, utilize development tools, programming languages, and databases to create custom applications or modify existing systems.</p>\n<p>· Expert in upgrades, DMT tool, and business process integration delivering ERP configurations aligned with finance business process needs.</p>\n<p><strong>Testing and Quality Assurance</strong></p>\n<p>· Develop and execute test plans to validate software solutions against business requirements.</p>\n<p>· Perform data validation and follow quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.</p>\n<p>· Identify and resolve software defects and issues to ensure optimal performance.</p>\n<p><strong>Documentation</strong></p>\n<p>· Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional design specifications, technical design specifications, and user training.</p>\n<p>· Maintain accurate records of system changes and updates.</p>\n<p><strong>Technical Support</strong></p>\n<p>· Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.</p>\n<p>· Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system availability and reliability.</p>\n<p><strong>Collaboration and Communication</strong></p>\n<p>· Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.</p>\n<p>· Present findings, progress, and proposed solutions to non-technical stakeholders.</p>\n<p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p>\n<p>· Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions and process improvements.</p>\n<p>· Focus on delivering standard Epicor Kinetic supported solutions, including enhancements, while thoroughly understanding business operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Epicor Expertise:</strong> Deep, hands-on experience with Epicor (Kinetic preferred) You know the system’s strengths and how to leverage them for finance and accounting.</p>\n<p><strong>Finance Fluency:</strong> You speak the language of finance operations. You understand the month-end closing and cost accounting processes.</p>\n<p><strong>Technical Savvy:</strong> Proficiency in SQL Server and the Epicor DMT. You are comfortable navigating databases and visualizing data using tools like Power BI or Tableau.</p>\n<p><strong>Problem-Solving DNA</strong>: The ability to look at a manual process and see a path toward improvement, automation and scale.</p>\n<p><strong>Communication Mastery</strong>: You can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical Finance Manager or a CFO with equal clarity.</p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or a related field</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Bonus Points If You Have:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.</p>\n<p>· Project Management experience or certifications (PMP, ScrumMaster, or Epicor certifications).</p>\n<p>· Experience in a manufacturing environment with Agile development methodologies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Cretex?</strong></p>\n<p>At Cretex, we invest in our people just as much as our technology.
