The Preconstruction Manager&rsquo;s responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all areas of preconstruction management, including Project Planning, Estimating Review, Pursuit Strategy, Proposal Generation, Internal/External Collaboration, and Precon Project Management. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Assume the lead with confidence on all assigned projects. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Implement project work plans and make revisions when needed. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Troubleshoot project issues and offer solutions on how to act and resolve. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Communicate effectively with Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Internal Groups responsible for completing various phases of the project.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Review of the Request for Proposal and Project Manual. Provide feedback to leadership regarding requirements and items of concern, identify key risk factors, and potential project pitfalls.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Review the Prime Contract, Subcontract, labor requirements, site requirements, general conditions, and all similar requirements delineated in the documents. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Serve as the main point of contact with Subcontractors for field construction-related issues during the preconstruction phase.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Collaborate with the Subcontractors to develop proposals.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Prepare installation Scopes of Work (SOW) to include with Dant Clayton proposals. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; SOW&rsquo;s shall include all elements of construction, including site requirements, schedule, phasing/sequencing, constructability, logistics, and manpower.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Periodically inspect construction sites during preconstruction. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Identify elements of project designs and construction that may potentially give rise to disputes and claims. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Review contract documents during the pursuit phase, when available, to identify key risk factors both contractually and from a construction perspective. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Assist with presentation preparations (AIA and others).&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Generate initial project schedules in coordination with field operations&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Other duties as assigned</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Bachelor&#39;s degree in civil engineering/construction management or similar field; advanced degree preferred. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must have a minimum of five years of preconstruction experience. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Experience in the construction/manufacturing industry is highly preferred. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Passion for participating/leading a team that secures new business via a collaborative approach with design, engineering, operations, and project delivery. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must have proven contract review and negotiation experience. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must have hands-on experience with sequencing and phasing on construction projects. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must have the ability to effectively analyze and assess site conditions. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must have experience with sales and possess strong customer-facing capabilities. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Excellent communication skills. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Good understanding of the design/build process. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Ability to plan and organize a team effort. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must have excellent overall computer and information technology skills. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must be customer service oriented with the ability to thrive in a team environment. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Good client management and goodwill-building ability. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Effective time management and logical decision-making ability. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Capacity to handle pressure and consistently meet deadlines.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Ability to travel as needed, including driving and/or flying. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Ability to safely navigate through construction sites. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div>\n",
