    "description_html": "<strong><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Transitional Care Unit/SNF - Haverhill MA</span><br><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Unit Manager - RN<br>$5,000 Sign-On Bonus</span></strong><br><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">20 Bed Transitional housed within our Rehabilitation Hospital<br>Regular Schedule will be M-F days (40 hours), with coverage as needed on weekends and off-shifts.</span><br><br>We are seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee and lead our Transitional Care Unit housed within our beautiful Rehabilitation Hospital on Ward Hill in Haverhill Ma. <br><br><strong>Essential Duties</strong>: To provide exceptional care to all residents including but not limited to:<ul><li>-Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, holds 24-hour authority, responsibility and accountability for the clinical management of assigned resident/patient care unit.</li><li>- Obtain report from nurse being relieved and records sufficient information to implement appropriate follow up action as necessary</li><li>- Provides report to nurse coming on duty, including sufficient information for follow-up action if necessary</li><li>- Conducts resident rounds, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action</li><li>- Administers and documents medication, enteral nutrition and treatment per physician order and accurately records all care provided and observations daily</li><li>- Performs comprehensive assessments of each resident on unit</li><li>- Develops care plan based on each resident's assessment</li><li>- Obtains physician orders and any revisions for all treatment and medications needed</li><li>- Assesses on a weekly basis the skin condition, stage, size, site, depth, color, drainage and odor of condition</li><li>- May conduct staff meetings; coordinate services rendered by nursing personnel with those rendered by personnel of other departments.</li><li>- Observes infection control policies and procedures relating to nursing services.</li><li>-Directs and supervises activities of professional and non-professional nursing personnel</li><li>- Supports and participates in In-services Education Programs.</li><li>- Renders immediate assistance to any resident in need</li><li>- Provides clinical supervision of nursing assistants providing direct patient care</li><li>- Assumes responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the assigned unit</li><li>- Counsels nursing assistants and communicates clearly with Director of Nursing if issues arise</li><li>- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to assure that high quality resident care is maintained</li><li>- Prepares nurse assistant assignments and explains all pertinent resident care</li><li>- Supervises distribution of nourishments</li><li>- Supervises the removal of all postural supports</li><li>- Orders, receives and documents medication according to facility procedure</li><li>- Supervises response to residents calls for assistance and responds to call lights as necessary</li><li>- Insures that all physician renewal orders and physician documentation is timely and appropriate</li></ul><br><strong>Prerequisites:</strong> <ul><li>- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing</li><li>- Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts</li><li>- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support in accordance with AHS or ARC standards</li><li>- Minimum of three (3) years recent clinical experience preferably in Gerontological or Rehabilitative Nursing.</li><li>- Prior MDS Management experience preferred.</li></ul><br><strong>Benefits available:</strong><ul><li>-401k</li><li>-Paid Sick</li><li>-Paid Vacation</li><li>-Paid Holiday</li><li>-Medical</li><li>-Dental</li><li>-Vision</li><li>-Life</li><li>-Short and Long Term Disability</li><li>-Hospital and Accident policy</li><li>-Critical Illness</li><li>-Christmas Club</li><li>-Flexible Spending Accounts</li><li>-Health Savings Account</li></ul><br> ",
