Learning to ensure all aspects of the hospital are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.</p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists with all functional aspects of overseeing the hospital including Nursing, Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, Respiratory, Front Office and Dietary.</li>\n <li>Supports senior leadership during facility inspections by licensing and accrediting agencies.</li>\n <li>Evaluates and addresses the educational needs of the market.</li>\n <li>Assists with planning and implementation of new service lines.</li>\n <li>Assists with oversight of Inpatient Lead / Preceptor in the facility.</li>\n <li>Assists with marketing and external relationships to drive facility volume.</li>\n <li>Assists in the implementation of the quality management system.</li>\n <li>Assists with process improvement activities and corrective action plans in the facility.</li>\n <li>Responsible for interim coverage of vacant or absent leadership positions within the region</li>\n <li>Assists with ensuring all functional areas are fully staffed with continuous coverage.</li>\n <li>Assists with new clinical orientation, including preceptor management.</li>\n <li>Assists with new and continued education and following up with staff.</li>\n <li>Responsible for covering a minimum of two 12-hour clinical shifts weekly per Hospital Administrator direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Other Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitors facility quality indicators and supports development of resolution plans by working closely with regional and corporate functions such as safety and infection control.</li>\n <li>Complies with all established policies, procedures and protocols.</li>\n <li>Attends staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required.</li>\n <li>Supports Hospital Administrator with fiscal accountability through scheduling and ordering supplies.</li>\n <li>Travels to all facility locations as required.</li>\n <li>Performs additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree, required; BSN, preferred</li>\n <li>5+ years total nursing experience, required</li>\n <li>Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required</li>\n <li>2+ years Emergency Department, Critical Care or PCU experience in an acute care hospital, required</li>\n <li>2+ years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of JCAHO or DNV standards, required</li>\n <li>Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red cross, required ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification</li>\n <li>Experience with high acuity, ICU Medical/Surgical patients, preferred</li>\n <li>Completion of FEMA ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, and ICS 800 within 60 days of hire</li>\n <li>Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication</li>\n</ul>",
