We are looking for local candidates to service the following areas: Pecos, TX; Midland/Odessa, TX; Carlsbad, and/or Big Spring TX. The ideal Field Service Technician candidate is self-driven, reliable, and possesses the technical experience necessary to service, maintain, and provide our customers with equipment that will be utilized to monitor existing systems on oil and gas rigs.",

    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<p>Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products<br>\n Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems<br>\n Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system<br>\n Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments<br>\n Billing, inventory and paperwork<br>\n Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<p>AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred<br>\n Willing to travel over 75% of the time<br>\n Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians<br>\n Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule<br>\n Good interpersonal skills<br>\n Good verbal and written communication skills<br>\n Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware<br>\n Willing to be on call<br>\n Electrical background preferred<br>\n All applicants must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.</p>",
