Department Overview McDonald’s is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Specialist to join our finance team. This role will support Restaurant Experience (REX) through financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Specialist will be part of the Finance team within the Corporate Controller Group. As part of the Global Finance team, this role provides financial expertise and support to another Global department – REX . Join us to contribute to meaningful projects and grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Duties Act as one of the Finance Business partners to the Restaurant Experience team. Assist with the month-end close process, including issue resolution, variance analysis, and monthly reporting. Support processes surrounding the long-range plan, annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly variance analysis. Investigate and understand detailed drivers of spending within the Restaurant Experience team and support strategies to manage and report operating expenses, capital expenditures, and project costs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance. Professional experience preferred Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency Ability to handle and analyze large amounts of data quickly and efficiently Cost management and budgetary planning experience is a plus Desire to work independently amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Strong aptitude with financial systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to interact with all disciplines, levels, and cultures and build relationships A strategic mindset, bias towards action, skepticism of the status quo, and can-do attitude – someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team Compensation Bonus elegible: Yes Long Term Incentive: No Benefits Elegible: Yes Salary Range The expected salary range for this role is: $69,679.00 - $87,099.00 The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other job-related factors.
