The Service Supervisor is responsible for the workflow and scheduling of jobs in the shop, and for the maintenance of customer and company heavy equipment and components. Depending on the location and assignment, the Supervisor will be responsible for some or all of the functions and duties listed below. This is a salaried position with bonus potential.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits include: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off + 8 company paid holidays</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options for Employee and Family </li>\n <li>Disability & Life Insurance Packages</li>\n <li>Competitive Retirement Plan </li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement – available to FT employees with 1 year+ of service</li>\n <li>Additional supplemental offerings and discount programs</li>\n <li>Employee Referral Program</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Open and close service calls and maintain WIPX in AX.</li>\n <li>Maintain Schedule of repairs in AX.</li>\n <li>Control workflow of repairs.</li>\n <li>Orders replacement parts ensuring that parts ordered are correct and complete at time of order. </li>\n <li>Coordinates the installations, testing, and operation of new machine attachments.</li>\n <li>Maintain rental fleet equipment, work tool inventory, yard organization.</li>\n <li>Prepares inspection and appraisal reports. </li>\n <li>Prepares accurate and complete service reports timely. </li>\n <li>Flexible to work occasional after hours when needed to meet customer needs. </li>\n <li>Supervise Service Technicians and engage in performance management by conducting annual and monthly reviews, coaching, counseling, and providing disciplinary action as needed.</li>\n <li>Assist in time-card entries, review, closing and invoicing work orders.</li>\n <li>Maintain a professional and proper personal appearance at all times adhering to company policy. </li>\n <li>Enforce safety policies and see that proper safety practices are followed at all times.</li>\n <li>Perform safety audits. </li>\n <li>Performs related duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Preferred experience on CAT heavy equipment or similar equipment. </li>\n <li>Proficient in mechanical systems (transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.). </li>\n <li>Proficient in the use of a computer and related software. </li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy. </li>\n <li>Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations. </li>\n <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision. </li>\n <li>Heavy equipment service/maintenance knowledge. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced service environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
