Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.</p><br /><p><b>How you will create an impact</b></p><p>You will be responsible for handling all aspects of complex Employment Practice Liability claims, with opportunity to handle Directors &amp; Officers Lability, from inception through conclusion brought against privately held and not-for-profit insureds.  </p><ul><li>Making coverage determinations, investigating losses, evaluating, and projecting potential exposures</li><li>Making case presentations, setting judgmental reserves, developing, and implementing resolution strategies</li><li>Working with defense counsel, collaborating with underwriting and delivering differentiated value and service to our customers and distribution partners.</li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>What you&#39;ll need to succeed</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of six or more years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation or other related experience.  </li><li>Excellent negotiation skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills</li><li>Knowledge of the litigation and arbitration process</li><li>Juris Doctor is preferred</li></ul><br /><p>For positions based in New York, NY, the base salary range is $120,000-$150,000.  For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $120,000-$150,000.
