    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">*NOT A REMOTE POSITION.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Job Function &ndash;&nbsp;</p><p>Manages an effective collateral valuation program for all residential real estate lending activity in adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations. &nbsp;Conducts retrospective compliance and technical desk reviews of residential appraisals ensuring adherence with bank guidelines and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Supports general workflow of appraisal department.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Job Responsibilities &ndash;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Determines project scope and engages residential appraisers appropriate for the transaction in accordance with internal policy and procedures as well as federal and state regulation.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Conducts reviews of appraisals and evaluations upon receipt while documenting findings/deficiencies prior to accepting the appraisal/evaluation. Communicates directly with appraiser in conjunction with such review on an as needed basis. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Conducts reviews of in-house valuations and validity checks to identify any typos, errors, or lack of documentation prior to accepting report. Communicate directly with preparer in conjuction with such review.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Continues education by attending job related and timely courses/seminars, reading pertinent industry publications, and networking with peers and experts in the real estate profession.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Supports workflow management of Appraisal Department.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Plans, organizes, and directs a system for quality control of appraisal services.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ensures that own work is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Performs all other duties as assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Education and Related Experience &ndash;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2+ years experience in residential credit analytics or equivalent work experience required.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred with an preferred emphasis on Finance/Accounting or any business related field.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Skills and Abilities &ndash;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must follow the bank&rsquo;s established appraisal policy guidelines. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess knowledge of computers and computer operations MS Office software.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be proficient in MS Excel</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess knowledge of standard office equipment including computer, ten key adding machine, scanner and copy machine.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess good organizational skills.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess decision making skills.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess a high degree of initiative.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must possess and keep current on industry knowledge and practices as it relates to the position.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements &ndash;&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to read and interpret a document.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. &nbsp;If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an &ldquo;undue hardship&rdquo; then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.</p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</strong></p></div></div>\n",
