The consultant will play a key role in translating existing product logic from legacy systems (Infor) into scalable, rule-based models within SAP AVC. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP AVC in an S/4HANA greenfield environment </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Translate complex product configurations into: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Characteristics, classes, and configuration profiles </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Constraint-based dependency models </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Work closely with business stakeholders to: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Understand existing configuration logic in Infor </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Redesign and optimize for SAP S/4HANA </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Integrate AVC with: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sales &amp; Distribution (SD) for order configuration </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Production Planning (PP) for BOM explosion and manufacturing </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Design and validate: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Configurable materials (KMAT) </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Super BOMs and routings </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Variant pricing logic </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of configuration models </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Support testing cycles, data migration, and go-live readiness </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Provide guidance on best practices for AVC modeling and governance </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Required Skills &amp; Experience </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>8+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on Variant Configuration </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Proven hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Experience in greenfield S/4HANA implementations (must-have) </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Strong expertise in: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Characteristics &amp; classes </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Configuration profiles </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Constraints, procedures, preconditions </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Deep understanding of: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Configurable materials (KMAT) </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Super BOMs and dependency-driven BOM explosion </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Experience integrating AVC with: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>SD (Sales) and PP (Manufacturing) </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Prior experience in manufacturing environments with highly configurable products </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ability to translate business rules into structured configuration logic </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Experience migrating from Infor (or similar ERP) to SAP S/4HANA </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Prior exposure to industries such as: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Discrete manufacturing </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Consumer goods with product customization </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Experience with variant pricing and advanced dependency modeling </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills </p>",
