    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong>Production Supervisor&nbsp;</strong></p><p>JOB SUMMARY</p><p>The primary purpose of the Production Supervisor is to ensure effective, safe and cost-efficient operations and effective staff management for the Production, Soil room, and Washroom departments.</p><p>DUTIES &amp; ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li>Lead Soil room and Washroom staff to meet daily/weekly production goals through efficient production processes:<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ensure that adequate staffing exists through effective scheduling.</li><li>Effectively manage labor costs as directed.</li><li>Ensure that all employees are adequately trained.</li><li>Ensure that quality and production standards are met.</li></ul></li><li>Lead ironing and tumble fold areas as directed to meet daily/weekly production goals through efficient production processes:<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ensure that adequate staffing exists through effective scheduling.</li><li>Effectively manage labor costs as directed.</li><li>Ensure that all employees are adequately trained.</li><li>Ensure that quality and production standards are met.</li></ul></li><li>Exhibit sound leadership in concert with Crown Laundry culture:<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Listen to all employees, respect the employee&rsquo;s right to speak up</li><li>Serve as a role model for respect for the company&rsquo;s policies and procedures</li></ul></li><li>Fill in and assist with any position as needed to ensure that production goals are met. This includes tie-out, production positions, etc.</li><li>Work in constant collaboration with maintenance to maintain equipment.</li><li>Uphold a genuine regard for safety by ensuring that safety committee meetings are held monthly on relevant topics.<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>React immediately to perceived safety violations or issues, notifying the Plant Manager.</li></ul></li><li>Track and communicate necessary information to employees regarding production targets, achievements, etc.<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Communicate visibly via a Production Board</li><li>Hold periodic department meetings to discuss accomplishments.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring that production reports are completed correctly everyday for the employees under his/her supervision</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for product quality:<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ensure that formulas and processes are documented, taught and followed.</li></ul></li><li>Handle administrative duties as needed:<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Generate reports as needed in a timely manner&nbsp;</li><li>Work with office staff to ensure that new hire paperwork and other reporting is handled efficiently and accurately.</li></ul></li></ol><h5>&nbsp;</h5><h5>OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h5><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li>Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.</li></ol><h6><u>DECISIONS THE INCUMBENT MUST SEEK APPROVAL FOR PRIOR TO EXECUTION:</u></h6><p><br></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Any disciplinary issues should be discussed first with the Plant Manager before implementation.</li><li>Changes to existing procedures.</li></ul><h6><u>DECISIONS THE INCUMBENT MAY DECIDE AND EXECUTE WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL:</u></h6><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li>May decide to move employees between work stations to meet production requirements.</li></ul><h6><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></h6><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>The ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without an accommodation.</li><li>At least 3 years Production experience in a related production environment, preferably in a lead position</li><li>Solid leadership acumen</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Has succeeded at a job that required attention to detail, flourishing in a fast pace and measuring/communicating results</li><li>Exceptional internal collaboration skills</li><li>Familiarity with production safety regulations/issues</li></ul><h5><br></h5></div></div>\n",
