Standing at the intersection of clinical software quality and bioinformatics, you will drive and elevate the quality assurance process for our VarSome platform — from defining test requirements and building automation frameworks to mentoring junior engineers and signing off on releases. You will play a key role in ensuring that our fast-moving development cycle never compromises the clinical precision our customers depend on. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We thrive in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">a high-pressure, high-performance</span> environment where clinical precision and rapid growth meet. While our pace is fast, it is always directed by rigorous organization and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">clear processes,</span> ensuring that our commitment to quality is never compromised by our drive for speed. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Test Execution &amp; Automation:</span> Conduct automation and manual testing, while continuing to develop our automation suite and embed this within our development process. Develop new testing frameworks where necessary.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Life-cycle</span>: Participate in the full product development life-cycle: defining test requirements at the start of a project, tracking and managing test issues, ensuring that the software meets its acceptance criteria, and signing off on releases for quality purposes.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Platform</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Expertise</span>: Gain in depth knowledge of our clinical platform, which enables fast and accurate variant detection, annotation, and interpretation of NGS data for whole genomes, exomes, and gene panels to give the highest quality to our customers.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Coverage</span>: Write concise documentation, review test documentation, and revise older test cases to achieve greater testing coverage.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mentorship</span>: Mentor  QA engineers and promote best testing practices across the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Ideal Candidate (Profile)</span></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate combines strong software quality engineering expertise with a meticulous, detail-oriented mindset.
