This role reports directly to the Truck Shop Manager. WHAT YOU'LL DO Work alongside a team of talented professionals who are passionate about their work and strive for excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King's Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Create and process invoices for repairs and services. Order truck parts, tools, and shop supplies from vendors. Compare pricing and availability between suppliers. Coordinate with technicians to keep records current. Maintain organized files for invoices, purchase orders, and service records. Performed other duties as assigned. PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn fleet and maintenance systems. Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage tasks. Demonstrate strong written and oral interpersonal and communication skills while interacting with all levels of management at the DC and Store Support Center. Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance processes. Must be effective in a team environment. THOSE WHO SUCCEED POSSESS Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and address challenges that may arise in relationships. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport, foster relationships, and collaborate effectively. Demonstrated preference for working in a structured and organized environment, with a track record of effectively following processes and procedures. Effectively articulate expectations, requirements, and boundaries while listening to others' perspectives. Experience in managing multiple tasks and maintaining an initiative-taking and results-driven approach. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate all facilities. Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices). Must be able to see at close and far distances. Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
