The Senior RPGLE Programmer designs, develops, and supports Shield&rsquo;s IBMi order-to-cash system. Collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Converts use case specifications and problem statements to computer code. Provides Tier 3 Help Desk support to identify root causes and resolve problems. Shares oversight of night batch processing on a rotational basis.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports production systems, troubleshoots issues, and optimizes performance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Builds integrations with internal and external systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Creates and maintains DB2/400 database structures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Documents technical designs and system workflows.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver business solutions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Consults with IT management, PMO personnel, peers, and business customers to gather necessary information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment and interfaces with other systems in support of solution design.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Designs and/or writes program specifications with little to no supervision.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected during the compile process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Creates test transactions and runs tests to identify errors.
