Are you a good multitasker? As our Scanning Specialist, you will ensure accurate pricing and signage throughout the store at a fast pace. As part of The Fresh Market team, you will assist in providing excellent guest service. These duties are vital to The Fresh Market’s functionality each day and the ability of the store to deliver results.   </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all electronic shelf tags and Captana systems are functioning correctly.</li>\n <li>Serve as the point person for AI-powered cameras for in-stock tracking.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular out-of-stock checks and take corrective action to ensure availability.</li>\n <li>Manage planogram execution and ensure product placement accuracy.</li>\n <li>Own price accuracy across all departments, ensuring shelf tags, signage, and promotional displays are correct.</li>\n <li>Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events. </li>\n <li>Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.</li>\n <li>Validate deals, promotions, and price changes for accuracy in signage and shelf tags.</li>\n <li>Support pricing integrity processes by conducting spot audits and resolving discrepancies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Availability:</h2>\n<p>This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications:</h2>\n<p><strong>At a minimum, what you’ll need:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.</li>\n <li>1–2 years of experience coordinating teams.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical and Work Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, and exposure to extreme temperatures.</li>\n <li>Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.</li>\n <li>Required to spend long periods of time on their feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law).</li>\n <li>Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:</h2>\n<p><em>The Fresh Market is a proud, equal-opportunity employer that is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.</em>  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Reasonable Accommodation: Consistent with applicable laws, The Fresh Market will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants and team members, unless doing so would result in an undue hardship to The Fresh Market.
