For the 8th consecutive year, we have been named one of the top 20 Physician Groups in Southern California by Integrated Healthcare Associates (IHA).</p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities\n<ul>\n <li>Works under direct clinical supervision of the sleep medicine physician to prepare sleep studies, support patients with positive airway pressure related issues, and conduct polysomnogram scoring.</li>\n <li>Oversees home sleep study logistics. Sets up and scores home sleep testing devices.</li>\n <li>Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs.</li>\n <li>Determines final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.</li>\n <li>Explains procedures and orients the patient for sleep testing.</li>\n <li>Selects appropriate equipment and calibrates for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments, if necessary; applies electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.</li>\n <li>Performs data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free. Identifies, corrects and documents artifacts. Documents routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.</li>\n <li>Performs patient education and instruction appropriate for sleep testing.</li>\n</ul>",
