This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a progressive department that values advanced technologies, collaboration, and compassionate, patient-centered care. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in treatment planning and excellent communication skills who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Additionally, we also support a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible hybrid work options.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our department is centered on a Varian ecosystem and utilizes three linear accelerators, Bravos HDR, and a full suite of Eclipse, Elements, and Radformation software. You will be joining a dedicated team of five Dosimetrists (FTE and flex), four Physicists, and three Radiation Oncologists. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clinical equipment and software you will be using and should be familiar with include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Linear Accelerators: Varian TrueBeam with Identify, Edge with ExacTrac Dynamic, and Novalis Tx (to be replaced by Ethos).</li>\n <li>Brachytherapy: Varian Bravos HDR.</li>\n <li>Treatment Planning: Eclipse (with RapidPlan, MCO, HyperArc) and Brainlab Elements, supported by Radformation tools (AutoContour, EZFluence, ClearCheck, ClearCalc) and Velocity.</li>\n <li>Oncology Information System: Aria and Epic.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Role: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Generate high-quality, efficient treatment plans for a wide range of techniques including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists, and Therapists to support optimal treatment delivery.</li>\n <li>Contribute to clinical protocol development, process improvement, and peer review activities.</li>\n <li>Support student Dosimetrists and Therapists while promoting a learning-friendly environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To: </strong>Chief Physicist (JC: 243402)</p>\n<p><strong>Supervises</strong>: None.</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in Medical Radiation Dosimetry or a related field (e.g., Biology or Physical Science).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiation Dosimetry or a related field (e.g., Biology or Physical Science). </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Dosimetry program or equivalent clinical experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience in a Varian-based clinical environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Eclipse, Aria, and Radformation tools.</li>\n <li>Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) credential from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) or eligibility within 12 months.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
