To learn more, visit the official JW Marriott Nashville <a href=\"https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/bnajw-jw-marriott-nashville/overview/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=linktree&utm_campaign=jw+marriott+nashville\" target=\"_blank\">website</a> or follow the hotel on social media via <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/JWMarriottNashville/\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook</a>, <a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/jwmarriottnashville/\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram</a> and <a href=\"https://twitter.com/jwmarriottnash\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter</a>.</p><p><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong></p><p>Housepersons will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures, standards and safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction. &nbsp;They will assist housekeeping with the delivery of supplies to guestroom floors.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order</li><li>Be graciously attentive to guests, answering questions and getting additional help when it&rsquo;s needed</li><li>Coordinate and help housekeeping with heavy lifting and priority requests</li><li>Assist with moving furniture as needed in guestrooms and hallways to facilitate general cleaning</li><li>Stocking room attendant carts with adequate supplies to complete assigned rooms and maintain an efficient cleaning cart</li><li>Pull linen and trash from housekeeping carts</li><li>Spot clean hallway and guestroom carpets as needed</li><li>Checks and restocks cleaning, general supplies and linen as needed</li><li>Ensure trash bins by guest elevators are emptied on a regular basis</li><li>Assist with guest item deliveries as needed</li><li>Report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair to Floor Supervisor</li><li>Clean furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas such as lobby, pool and public restrooms.
