TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment. </li>\n <li>Provides care through collaboration with team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process. </li>\n <li>Provides leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other members of the health care team. </li>\n <li>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure and clean environment. </li>\n <li>Ensures care provided displays respect for the patient’s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs. </li>\n <li>Is adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety. </li>\n <li>Practices under the Department of Nursing and within the scope of the Florida Nurse Practice Act. </li>\n <li>Follows all policies, procedures, and requirements, and actively supports a commitment to the mission and vision of TMH, consistently displaying behaviors in harmony with the ICARE values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>RN/Director Psychiatry</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of approved school of nursing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor Degree in Nursing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) to five (5) Years experience as a RN</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current licensed in the State of Florida to practice professional nursing (RN).</li>\n <li>Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or other specialized life support requirements designated by work area.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
