As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.</p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Production Coordinator</strong> to join the team with Barrios, a teammate company.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Production Coordinator</strong> will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain shop production schedule (by job, machine, work center, etc.) in e2</li>\n <li>Develop and work with the Production Scheduler at the job level at work centers to maximize overall manufacturing</li>\n <li>Review, plan, and coordinate the execution of manufacturing work requests using designated software.</li>\n <li>Daily review and adjustment of hardware development schedules and workflow within the various work centers to meet current shop priorities</li>\n <li>Develop job kits to full-kit level including material, consumables, and documentation</li>\n <li>Track schedule for manufacturing work orders, provide thorough status reports to customers and provide follow-up support on questions and concerns</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education/Experience/Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in related field, plus five (5) years of experience.</li>\n <li>Effectively manage and prioritize responsibilities for multiple projects with overlapping schedule demands</li>\n <li>General understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining (manual, CNC mill and lathe, multi-axis, and electric discharge machining), sheet metal fabrication, welding, composites manufacturing, cleaning, and hardware assembly, water knife, press brake.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the manufacturing and physical characteristics of metals, plastics, composites, and fibrous materials</li>\n <li>Knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions.</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferences:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity of quality procedures and documentation for aerospace flight Hardware, including material test reports, certificates of compliance, and heat treat and other quality records</li>\n <li>A resilient and proactive approach to problem solving</li>\n <li>Passion for space and the mission</li>\n <li>Entrepreneurial, growth mindset</li>\n <li>High EQ and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.</li>\n <li>Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.</li>\n <li>Work may involve sitting for extended periods.</li>\n <li>May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.</li>\n <li>Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.</li>\n <li>Generally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.</li>\n <li>Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)</li>\n <li>Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.</li>\n <li>Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.</li>\n <li>Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.</li>\n <li>Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.</li>\n <li>This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><em>Don’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Barrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
