Description

Who We Are AIR Communities owns and operates best-in-class apartment communities in major markets across the country. Our communities are managed by team members who are passionate about providing world class customer service to our residents. The Talent Development Specialist supports AIR Communities by curating, designing, developing, and facilitating a variety of programs to support training initiatives across the organization. The Specialist reports to the Director of L&OD and works closely with both HR and business leaders to ensure all training is consistent with company standards.  This person creates innovative, customized training for all Team Member programs, assists with facilitation when needed and supports the entire team with content creation that appeals to adult learners. Responsibilities: Partner with HR and business leaders to curate, design, develop, modify, and implement new and existing training programs that support onboarding, leadership development, systems, compliance, and skills-based training needs throughout the organization. Develop and understanding of AIR Communities business model and key objectives and prioritize your work in a way that contributes to the business goals. Communicate and circulate training content to the company utilizing internal communication tools (email, Webex, sms, etc.) Designs and updates learning materials, including e-learns, presentations, facilitator guides, SharePoint sites, videos, and job aids.  Incorporates ongoing evaluation feedback into materials on a continuous basis. Acts as systems administrator for learning management system (LMS), ensuring enrollments and course offerings are up to date and available as needed. Creates engaging online modules using Articulate Storyline and other similar tools. Builds and maintains strong client and subject matter expert relationships to gather ongoing needs assessment information to ensure development needs are identified and addressed through training solutions. Provides guidance and support to subject matter experts and HR Leaders to incorporate adult learning principles into systems and compliance training upon request.   Supports L&OD team with facilitation of leadership, onboarding, compliance, and systems training as needed. Films and edits engaging videos for use in training and other initiatives Update and maintain L&OD SharePoint pages and resources Perform other duties as assigned What You Have Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, Instructional Systems Development, Communications, Education, or related area. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to utilize technology to design, update, create and implement both virtual and in-person training materials. Assist with the maintenance and creation SharePoint sites, quick reference guides and other tools to support learning within the organization.  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook  Proficient in Articulate suite Experience with creating and editing video content. Desired Characteristics  Professional and personable with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Ability to prioritize, think independently and problem solve to ensure projects are completed in an effective/timely manner Ability to work with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals Self-starter, motivated and proactive Strong organization and planning skills, detail oriented, and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments Excellent verbal and written communication Ideal candidate demonstrates accountability, thinks critically, and demonstrates courage when presenting ideas Can easily multi-task and manage multiple projects Benefits An anticipated base salary between 85,000-$105,000 plus annual bonus. Salary will be offered depending on location, skills, and experience. Paid time off including  vacation, sick time, and 14 holidays. Medical, dental, vision , and life insurance options, HSA/FSA plans, short and long-term disability paid by the company. An  Apartment Benefit  option is available  to live on-site at the community you are working 401(k) plan  with up to 6% employer match. Paid parental leave  of up to 16 weeks. Tuition assistance program and up to  100% reimbursement  for job-related certifications and licenses. 15 hours of  paid time annually for community service . Commuter benefits and pet insurance. Consumer discounts on various products and services. Opportunities for ongoing professional development, leadership training, and  career growth .
