They include the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer & monitor general anesthesia or monitored sedation.</li>\n <li>Proficient in airway management including mechanical ventilation.</li>\n <li>Placement of peripheral intravenous catheters.</li>\n <li>Pre-anesthesia evaluation.</li>\n <li>Post anesthesia care/discharge.</li>\n <li>Evaluate laboratory & diagnostic studies.</li>\n <li>Proficient in pain management.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development principles, from neonate to geriatrics.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, neonate through geriatrics.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Relocation assistance available</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<p>·         Completed AANA approved course in Anesthesia.  Masters degree required.</p>\n<p> Licensure/Certification/Registry:</p>\n<p>·         Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in State of Illinois.</p>\n<p>·         Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or new graduate who is eligible for certification.</p>\n<p>·         Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certification required.</p>\n<p>·         NRP certification required before completing their orientation period.</p>\n<p>Credentialing:</p>\n<p>·         Maintains current Registered Nursing license and Advanced Practice Nursing license in Illinois (Requires 50 CEUs in 2 years).</p>\n<p>·         Maintains current CRNA certification. (Requires 40 CEUs in 2 years).</p>\n<p>·         Completes CRNA competency validation.</p>\n<p>·         Participates in FPPE/OPPE validation as required.</p>\n<p>·         Completes all process paperwork for credentialing re-appointment</p>\n<p>·         Completes annual self-evaluation and submits documentation for annual performance appraisal.</p>",
