Heavy Equipment Operator (Leroy, AL)

Heavy Equipment Operator will operate bulldozer, scraper and motor grader to move heavy equipment from one location to another location on the project site. This often entails a change in altitude from one location to the next. Responsible for operating Bulldozer, Scraper and Motor Grader in a construction site Ability to move equipment and other materials with machinery Plan operational lifts Must inspect equipment Perform preventative maintenance Responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment Must follow signal directions from a signaler/spotter in equipment operations Will access area of operations for safety issues and required processes and planning of equipment operations Interpret drawings Unload the material Move material to the work area where it will be used Inspect rigging Inspect the equipment Excavate and backfill for foundations Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Heavy Equipment Operator will operate bulldozer, scraper and motor grader to move heavy equipment from one location to another location on the project site.
