ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Since then, for 80 years, across 100 countries, World Relief has partnered with local churches and communities to build a world where families thrive and communities flourish.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until 6/30/27 and contingent upon funding extension.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct initial client intake, including collecting demographic data, verifying documentation, and determining program eligibility.
Provide orientation to available services and enroll clients based on assessed needs.
Schedule and coordinate appointments to ensure successful connection with internal staff and services.
Deliver individualized workforce coaching, including pre-employment assessments, career planning, and job readiness preparation aligned with client skills, English proficiency, and goals.
Facilitate one-on-one and group job readiness sessions covering resume development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and U.S. workplace expectations.
Support clients in obtaining employment by matching them with appropriate opportunities, assisting with applications, coordinating interviews, and facilitating onboarding.
Assist clients in addressing employment barriers by developing transportation plans and resolving logistical or personal challenges.
Provide ongoing follow-up and retention support to promote job stability, address workplace concerns, and assist with job transitions or reemployment as needed.
Guide clients in identifying short- and long-term career goals and connect them with training programs, educational resources, and career pathway opportunities.
Make internal referrals to services such as case management, ESL, mental health, youth programs, and immigration legal services.
Coordinate external referrals to community organizations and maintain a resource network to address needs beyond internal services.
Develop and maintain relationships with employers and community partners to expand employment opportunities aligned with client skills and career goals.
Maintain accurate, timely case notes, client records, and reporting documentation in compliance with program and grant requirements.
Provide administrative support, including managing shared calendars, coordinating communications (mail, fax, phone), and offering translation as needed.
Train and supervise volunteers and interns supporting program services.
Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and community events to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Conduct outreach and attend community meetings to build partnerships and increase client access to resources.
Provide general office and program support, including backup front desk coverage and other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Mature and personal Christian faith

Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs , Statement of Faith , Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
Fluency in written and spoken English
Demonstrated cross-cultural experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in immigrant case management or a related field
Ability to work collaboratively and support team members during periods of high client volume or emergencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR Background screening
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through on multiple assignments and projects
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and consistent follow-through
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, immigration statuses and associated eligibility for benefits
Ability to network effectively and build relationships to develop referral partnerships
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Fluency in one or more languages commonly spoken by World Relief clients (e.g., French, Arabic, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Swahili, Lingala, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Assyrian, Rohingya) strongly preferred
