(AEI)</strong> is a leading, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm and collaborative community of over 900 employees across 22 offices who plan, design, and deliver high-performance, innovative, holistic engineering solutions.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Recognized as a top engineering firm nationally, AEI is dedicated to enhancing the built environment through remarkable design and award-winning projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a <strong>BIM Specialist I/II</strong> in our <strong>Chapel Hill </strong>office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why we need you:</strong></p>\n<p>In this role, you will be providing on-going training, user support, troubleshooting, content creation and development, as well as project integration of BIM services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Expertise of our most successful BIM Specialist I/II: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree in a related field (for example, CAD drafting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design); or commensurate experience.</li>\n <li>1+ years of design experience in the professional services industry, preferably A/E/C firm.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using and supporting the current versions of AutoCAD and Revit MEP and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, Navisworks, Newforma, and Revit APP Store.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in creating Revit content, setting up models for production and optimizing Revit workflows.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides coordination checks and feedback to design team (interference check, clash detection, reports, etc.) and coordination of documents/models during construction administration (New Forma, 360 Field, etc.).
