We primarily service Northern New Jersey, Southern New York State, New York City, with a landfill located in Ohio, where we also own and operate a state-of-the-art rail-served landfill. We cater to a diverse range of residential, industrial and commercial customers. Our mission has always been to provide our customers with the highest quality waste, recycling and environmental services, while keeping focus on employee, customer and environmental safety. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Requirements</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>5+ years’ experience working as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Hydraulics experience is required</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Engine and transmission maintenance and repairs </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, and Paccar.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Chassis component repairs and maintenance including air brakes system, suspension, drivetrain and steering components.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Maintain and repair exhaust systems equipped with DPF systems.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards. </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must be able to provide own tools.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>A valid driver’s license is required.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>What We Offer?</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive wage (based on experience) plus Time and a half for Overtime.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Union Shop.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Medical, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability coverage.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Uniforms provided with laundry services.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Annual boot allowance.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Ongoing training and career ladders for advancement.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>IWS is committed to providing a world class work place to all employees.
