We’re looking for motivated drillers who are ready to expand their skill set and contribute to a variety of challenging geotechnical projects.</p>\n<p>We are seeking candidates with experience in the following drilling methodologies and field activities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Geotechnical Heli</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Coring</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mud Rotary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Packer Testing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SPTs (Standard Penetration Tests)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Installations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sonic Drilling</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor instruments such as pressure gauges, feed or weight indicators as well as observe the volume, colour and consistency of the returns from the hole.</li>\n<li>Employ various sampling techniques according to project and client requirements.</li>\n<li>Record keeping as required/requested by the client and or Company.</li>\n<li>Operate and troubleshoot drill and ancillary equipment, including, but not limited to; trucks, support vehicles, pumps, heaters, compressors, mud re-circulation systems, etc.</li>\n<li>Supervise Drill Assistant and the drill crew to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.</li>\n<li>Ensure Driller Assistant maintains and organizes equipment, supplies and tooling for the drill rig and support vehicles.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Professional Experience / Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must maintain and possess a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.</li>\n<li>Have 3-5 years experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling.</li>\n<li>Have the mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair small equipment.</li>\n<li>Complete and pass a pre-employment drug &amp; alcohol test.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$34.00 - $42.00 per hour plus project specific bonuses. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits from start of employment.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Geotech, we pride ourselves in offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.
