Aerospace is at a turning point — costs are rising, supply chains are strained, and old ways of building can’t keep up. At Neon Aero, we’re breaking that mold. We move fast, think big, and combine start-up agility with aerospace expertise to design, build, and scale aircraft in ways the industry has never seen. Our team leverages automation, AI-driven tools, and a fully connected digital backbone to accelerate innovation and reduce barriers to production. Ability to define requirements, support compliance planning, and evaluate design alternatives. Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams, manufacturing, and suppliers. Familiarity with analytical modeling, aerodynamic CFD analysis, structural modeling, CAD design, engineering drawings, GD&T, and model-based definition. Strong engineering judgment, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Interest in mechanical systems, aircraft, and manufacturing. Ability to work in office, lab, manufacturing, and other technical environments as needed. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to comply with export control, ITAR, and related security requirements. Preferred Experience concepting, designing, and introducing a system into production.
