The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the performance of preventive maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing first-of-a-kind and specialty nuclear and chemical processing equipment as well as standard industrial facility electrical and HVAC equipment.</p><p><br></p><p>Successful candidates understand that the Maintenance organization is one of diligence, hard work, and action. They take ownership of issues, follow through until resolution, and implement measures to prevent recurrence. Recognizing their role as service providers—primarily to Operations, they perform their duties with professionalism, courtesy, and a spirit of assistance with a safety-first attitude. Above all, they hold themselves to a high standard of teamwork, fostering an environment built on respect, accountability, and collaboration.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The base salary range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.</p><p><br></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities of the Electromechanical Technician:</p><p>Specific duties include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Safely perform routine and non-routine installation, maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repair of various components and equipment in a nuclear isotope production facility, including but not limited to, industrial compressed air system, high purity water system, HVAC systems</li><li>Safely perform testing and surveillance activities related to the start-up and commissioning of a new facility and or new manufacturing equipment; analyze problems with equipment and system performance and recommend corrective action.</li><li>Keep all required safety and GMP related training current and follow all regulatory requirements.</li><li>Support the department’s budget by exercising sound judgment, promoting cost-effective decisions, and implementing best practices.</li><li>Develop or assist in the development of work instructions for maintenance activities.</li><li>Provide clear, written feedback on work execution and performance, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Safely perform all work within facility approved administrative and regulatory guidelines and procedures.</li><li>Safely performs daily and routine facility and equipment checks, surveillance logs, and work area housekeeping.</li><li>Safely operate powered industrial trucks, overhead bridge cranes, and similar equipment.</li><li>Perform administrative activities associated with plant activities.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
