Please note that this is an internship role where full training will be provided to put the successful candidate in a position to fulfil the Duties and Responsibilities listed. The remuneration will be aligned to the role of an intern for the first 3 months.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>• Design and build solutions that enable the administration of Insurance and Investment products using the FIS PAS application formerly known as Compass.<br>• Understand user product requirements and build compass system solutions that enable the requirements in an efficient manner.<br>• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.<br>• Facilitate/participate in design sessions.<br>• Training of users and troubleshooting any issues that arise.<br>• Investigate system problems and correct them.<br>• Create functional and technical specifications.<br>• Provide technical support to business users.<br>• Review test plans and the test book for each project release before User Acceptance Testing.</p>\n<p>• Conduct systems testing to ensure that the design is aligned and designed according to the technology business requirement specifications.<br>• Provide support for system testing.<br>• Document solution designs and communicate the designs effectively to users and other developers/Compass specialists.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Competencies</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>• Good understanding of insurance risk &amp; investment products.<br>• Understanding of relational database design principles.<br>• Intermediate capability in Oracle SQL.<br>• Excellent communication skills.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.<br>• Goal-oriented, critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.<br>• Ability to balance efficiency and effectiveness.<br>• Understanding of Agile delivery principles.</p>",
