    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a <strong>Full-Stack Software Engineer</strong> to support our <strong>Huntsville, AL</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently looking for a mid career Full-Stack Software Engineer.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications supporting government customer missions within an Agile development environment.</li>\n <li>Build and support modern web frontends using Vue 3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.</li>\n <li>Create and support Python scripts, utilities, automation tasks, and integration workflows.</li>\n <li>Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Docker-based application environments.</li>\n <li>Support Linux-based application deployment, configuration, logging, and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Contribute to coding standards, API design, database modeling, system architecture, and long-term platform maintainability.</li>\n <li>Support production troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.</li>\n <li>Document technical decisions, application behavior, deployment steps, and support procedures.</li>\n <li>Independently own moderately complex features, modules, or workstreams with appropriate guidance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of professional software development experience.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript application development.</li>\n <li>Experience building frontend applications with Vue, preferably Vue 3.Experience developing backend APIs and services with Node.js.</li>\n <li>Experience working with relational databases and writing maintainable data-driven application logic.</li>\n <li>Experience using Python for scripting, automation, data handling, integrations, or backend support tasks.</li>\n <li>Experience using Git for source control in a collaborative software development environment.</li>\n <li>Experience building, running, or troubleshooting applications in Docker containers.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in Linux environments, including command-line usage, logs, services, file permissions, networking basics, and deployment troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Ability to work across the full application stack, including frontend, backend, database, containers, and deployment considerations.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting deployed applications and troubleshooting real-world issues.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand mission workflows, user needs, and operational processes, and build software that supports them effectively.</li>\n <li>Strong judgment around maintainability, security, data quality, and user experience.</li>\n <li>Ability to independently own moderately complex features or modules.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Travel: 10%</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>TS/SCI</strong> clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active <strong>TS/SCI</strong> clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education Requirements</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Vue 3 Composition API.</li>\n <li>Experience with MongoDB.</li>\n <li>Experience with Docker Compose or multi-container application environments.</li>\n <li>Experience with Linux shell scripting.</li>\n <li>Experience working with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Bitbucket.</li>\n <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or release automation.</li>\n <li>Experience working in government contracting, compliance-heavy, operational, or mission-support environments.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with secure handling of sensitive operational, mission, customer, or government data.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Estimated Time To Hire:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>July 2026</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><em>People First.
