    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Testing and debugging of automation equipment while applying knowledge of engineering technology as necessary.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Programs, troubleshoots, and evaluates any design considerations on new, existing systems and equipment which will include maintaining a backup library of PLC, instrumentation software and electrical documentation.</li>\n <li>Designs &amp; implements engineering solutions that meet the project requirements while monitoring budget constraints to maximize production equipment quality and efficiency.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Preparation of project scope, cost justification and AFE (overall cost proposal) to senior management for approval as required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Applies mechanical theory, mechanical testing procedures and related knowledge to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Evaluates, selects, and coordinates with outside vendors for design, machining and fabrication of parts and systems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel for projects on short notice including weekends – 70% Travel (typically 1-2weeks at a time)</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as Automation Engineer with focus on Siemens PLC’s&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Expert level knowledge of Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, Safety ES, WinCC flexible &amp; Advanced</li>\n <li>Proficiency in designing controls systems.</li>\n <li>Strong MS Office, AutoCAD Mechanical &amp; Electrical, E-Plan</li>\n <li>Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Has the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills</li>\n <li>Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift 55 lbs. overhead</li>\n <li>Ability to stand, crouch and climb to perform duties</li>\n <li>While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles&nbsp;<br>\n  and outside weather conditions</li>\n <li>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud</li>\n <li>The work environment can be very hot, over 90 degrees.</li>\n <li>Vision: 20/20 corrected and normal hearing range</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
