We also offer our employee assistance program to part time employees.</li>\n <li>Your Impact Matters: Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician performs routine tasks in patient care/assistance and documentation of care provided.</li>\n <li>Transports patients to and from various treatment areas when necessary; assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.</li>\n <li>Performs services for the patient involving dressing, showering, bathing and oral feeding.</li>\n <li>Answers patient lights and performs services in a timely manner that adds to the physical well-being of the patient. Participates in patient turning/repositioning, performs purposeful hourly rounds.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Requires hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or as an actively enrolled nursing student.</li>\n <li>Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></strong></p>",
