We encourage Industrial Electricians to participate in company-paid, continuing education to stay abreast of both the technical knowledge related to their profession and the changes related to safety compliance. And our tuition reimbursement program is the perfect springboard to help you get there!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>So what does a Silvi Materials Industrial Electrician do?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Field Installation/Knowledge of power and control wiring</li>\n <li>Maintenance of related electrical parts, equipment, and machinery including electric motors, network switches, AC/DC systems, PLC’s and Timer Relays</li>\n <li>Working with 4-20MA Controls, 120V, 240V and 480V Power </li>\n <li>Capable of threading/bending 2” rigid pipe</li>\n <li>Capable of installing and terminating conduit wire, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, and various control components and devices</li>\n <li>Capable of installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devices</li>\n <li>Comfortable working independently as well as in a crew</li>\n <li>Capable of determining materials needed to complete task</li>\n <li>Long term problem solving of repeat concerns and production interference Repair of high voltage boxes </li>\n <li>Work assignments carried out in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Required as a Silvi Materials Industrial Electrician:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 year’s experience required as an Electrician or related field </li>\n <li>5 year’s experience or more preferred as an Electrician or related field</li>\n <li>Completion of a technical school in an electrical technology career school or program highly preferred</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret maintenance manual using diagram schematics and parts manuals.</li>\n <li>POE camera experience highly preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with safety regulations (i.e. OSHA, MSHA) are a plus, but not required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and with urgency to complete assignments. </li>\n <li>Ability to work outdoors, in all weather conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>In a typical work setting, people in this job:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds on occasion.</li>\n <li>Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects</li>\n <li>Stand for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist or crawl.</li>\n <li>Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.</li>\n <li>See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.</li>\n <li>See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Silvi Materials does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.</p>",
