    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, or designee, the Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining records relating to parts and supplies at their respective location. Essential functions include:</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><ol><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Maintaining records utilizing the Oracle system, Veeder-Root, and Fleetwatch;&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Receiving and issuing parts and supplies;&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Handling incoming and outgoing shipments;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Evaluating parts usage from equipment repair orders;&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Handling bus down situations;&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Reviewing stock levels and preparing reorder notice to replenish and maintain inventory levels;&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Performing and verifying cycle counts;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Investigating and resolving parts variances;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Preparing requisitions;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Preparing and issuing transfers;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Maintaining MRO inventory balances;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Monitoring gas readings and maintaining fluid and fuel levels;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Performing other duties as assigned or required.</span></p></li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Age:</strong></p><p>Must be 21 years of age or older.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>A high school diploma or equivalent required.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>Must have at least one year of previous experience in stockroom operations, shipping, and receiving, and have a good work history.</p><p><strong>Certifications/Licenses:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must have or obtain forklift certification within six (6) months after date of hire.</p><p><strong>Proficiencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Must demonstrate intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle is preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills: good written and verbal communication skills.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Work is performance in stockroom, shipping, and receiving environment, where the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and loud noises.
