    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>What to Expect in the Role:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge and operation of all farm machinery, equipment, and fleet vehicles.</li>\n <li>Understand manufacturer’s specifications for proper equipment operation.</li>\n <li>Ensure the proper training of the employees</li>\n <li>Direct the administrative and functional activities of grove production/harvesting.</li>\n <li>Monitor the fruit estimation process to approximate harvest.</li>\n <li>Review production reports, harvesting and fruit quality reports, analyze data and make recommendations to improve efficiency and cost control.</li>\n <li>Manage unit budget and implement cost control measures as necessary.</li>\n <li>Coordinate production and harvesting activities with the state manager and superintendents.</li>\n <li>Monitor caretaking activities to ensure spray program, fertilizing, planting, and land development activities are appropriate and conform to established standards.</li>\n <li>Monitor harvesting activities to ensure proper fruit picking, handling and loading to conform to established standards.</li>\n <li>Prepare annual reviews of superintendents, supervisors, and clerks, and assist in the formulation of career goals.</li>\n <li>Provide safety education to all employees under supervision.</li>\n <li>Execute employee relation procedures/labor agreements as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of company policies and procedures, technical manuals and safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations as they pertain to agriculture.</li>\n <li>Investigate, document, and report all infractions of company safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to retrieve, understand and distribute information using reports and research.</li>\n <li>Perform all safety requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>. What We Will Be Needing From You:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires driving and riding in a vehicle for long periods of time over rough terrain.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires mobility to all company grove locations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze, identify and solve problems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires knowledge of citrus varieties, rootstocks, experimental planting, and irrigation techniques.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to keep updated on new developments and changes in the industry.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to prepare written monthly reports</li>\n <li>Majority of work is performed outdoors in a grove environment, with a small amount of time spent in a normal office environment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Work requires exposure to all temperature and weather extremes, loud noises, moving equipment, dust, fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, fuel, frequent entering and exiting company vehicles, and walking on a soft, sandy and rough, hard&nbsp;uneven surfaces.</li>\n <li>Four-year degree/two to three years’ experience in citrus production/harvesting</li>\n <li>Multimedia communication skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires a valid restricted pesticide license.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
