Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct property patrols of client locations, in accordance with site instructions.</li>\n<li>Respond to and investigate alarm calls when dispatched.</li>\n<li>Conduct Private Property Parking Enforcement at client locations, in accordance with City by-laws and site procedures.</li>\n<li>Conduct ATM escort duties as required.</li>\n<li>Operate company patrol vehicle in accordance with company policy and HTA regulations.</li>\n<li>Enforce the Trespass to Property Act when required.</li>\n<li>Liaise with Police, Fire, EMS as appropriate during incidents.</li>\n<li>Complete patrol and incident reports utilizing reporting software, and paper reports as required.</li>\n<li>Maintain professionalism at all times, during all interactions.</li>\n<li>Be responsible for the care and upkeep of company vehicle and all assigned equipment during your shift.</li>\n<li>Undertake all training assigned to you in a timely fashion.</li>\n<li>Report concerns or complaints received to Supervisor or Manager</li>\n<li>Be available to adjust schedule as required to accommodate the needs of the patrol team.</li>\n<li>Perform 'stand downs' at client locations to ensure continuity of guard service, as requested by supervisor or manager.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor or Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Required Education, Qualifications and Experience:</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Mandatory*</span> - Must hold a Valid Ontario Security Guard License.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Mandatory*</span>– Valid WSIB accredited First Aid and CPR certificate</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Mandatory*</span> - Use of Force certification.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Mandatory*</span> – Must have undertaken Escalation and conflict resolution training.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Mandatory*</span>– Full G class license and Clean Drivers Abstract</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Mandatory* </span>– Be able to obtain a Level II (Secret) Security Clearance- minimum 10 Years of Residency in Canada</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must</span> be able to complete CGL’s Use of Force Level II Class</li>\n<li>Good Computer skills especially with MS Office suite and at least Security management software.</li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of Mobile security guarding experience</li>\n<li>Will be required to drive a company vehicle for the entire shift and conduct site checks and calls for assistance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CERTIFICATIONS</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferred – A diploma in Police Foundations</li>\n<li>Preferred – Post Secondary Certificate</li>\n<li>Prior Use of Force experience</li>\n<li>Must have undertaken Escalation and conflict resolution training.</li>\n<li>Must hold a valid security guard license.</li>\n<li>Valid First Aid and CPR certificate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WE OFFER YOU</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical and dental benefits</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n<li>Family Assistance program</li>\n<li>Coaching and counselling support</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR COMMSSIONAIRES</span>:</p>\n<p>As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, can multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We would like to thank all those who apply, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is fully committed to abiding by all equal opportunity employment standards.
