This full‑time, onsite position rotates between our Needville and Stafford locations, providing hands‑on nursing care, medication management, and essential communication with clinical teams.\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow up on and assist with scheduling medical appointments.</li>\n <li>Communicate with the Registered Nurse and staff regarding the implementation of physician’s orders.</li>\n <li>Collect urine drug screens as needed.</li>\n <li>Check client weights and vital signs monthly and as required.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and updated medical and medication records.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with pharmacies to ensure medication accuracy and availability.</li>\n <li>Work with nursing staff and clients to correctly arrange medications for home passes and discharges.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with treatment teams.</li>\n <li>Distribute medications at designated times and as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current LVN License (required)</li>\n <li>One year of nursing experience strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or residential treatment settings is strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Proficient in time management, assertiveness, problem solving, and self‑motivation</li>\n <li>Knowledge of standard medical terminology, medical techniques, legal charting procedures, and medication guidelines</li>\n <li>Skilled in using nursing tools/equipment and assessing client physical conditions</li>\n <li>Excellent writing skills</li>\n <li>Strong ability to communicate medical situations clearly with clients, parents, and co‑workers</li>\n <li>Ability to use Microsoft software, additional computer programs, and navigate local network systems</li>\n <li><strong>Candidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Become the Best of the Best:</strong> Access to an established Mastery Program that offers unparalleled opportunities for professional growth.</li>\n <li><strong>Proven Positive Outcomes:</strong> You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that your work is making a tangible difference in young adults and adolescents lives.</li>\n <li><strong>Holistic Family Approach:</strong> Embark recognizes the importance of treating families which is crucial for sustained recovery and well-being for teens.</li>\n <li><strong>Robust (EAP)</strong> Employee Assistance Program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OPI is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
