    "description": "<p>Ashtead Technology are looking for a hands on Shop Technician growing Mechanical Solutions team in Houma, <span style=\"color: rgb(10, 10, 10)\">Louisiana</span>. In this role, you will support the wider workshop team in performing maintenance and repairs and preparing equipment to meet customer demand. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.</li>\n<li>Supporting to diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment.</li>\n<li>Delivery and pickup products and company equipment to/from customers and vendors as required.</li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles in line with QHSE regulations and arranging servicing and maintenance as required.</li>\n<li>Assist other members of the team as required including Technicians and Logistics with shopping and receiving. </li>\n<li>Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Line Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you'll bring:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant qualification in Mechanical or other similar technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.<br></li>\n<li>Experience in a fault finding and problem solving.</li>\n<li>Ability to operate a forklift.</li>\n<li>Willingness to be flexible with working hours to assist with operational demands.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who we are:</span></p>\n<p>Established in 1985, Ashtead Technology is a leading provider of subsea equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services to the global offshore energy sector.
