This role is crucial in ensuring that production leadership is operating efficiently, consistently, and safely. The General Manager will develop and mentor others as well as lead production efforts. This person is responsible for the goals and objectives of the plant. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, leadership prowess, and operational savvy, underpinned by a strong commitment to excellence in manufacturing practices. ***Relocation Available to Greeneville, TN. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals.</li>\n <li>Oversee daily operations of the plant and work with executive leaders in the support functions.</li>\n <li>Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.</li>\n <li>Determine and manage labor needs to meet production goals.</li>\n <li>Manage budgets and forecasts, including focusing on CapEx projects, cost reductions, and operational improvements.</li>\n <li>Manage P&L responsibilities to meet plant financial targets.</li>\n <li>Establish and oversee plant based projects to optimize existing manufacturing lines.</li>\n <li>Direct targeted project teams to engineer,  procure, construct, and operate select new manufacturing lines on time and on budget. </li>\n <li>Constantly review metrics and use data to drive business performance.</li>\n <li>Develop and mentor all direct reports to prepare them for their next role in the organization.</li>\n <li>Lead, motivate, and engage the manufacturing team associates to achieve production targets while ensuring a safe and positive work environment.</li>\n <li>Continuously analyze and improve manufacturing processes and workflows for efficiency, quality, and safety enhancements.</li>\n <li>Participate in the hiring process to attract and retain the best talent.</li>\n <li>Ensure safety protocols within the plant.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to maintain company’s legal and ethical standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>Significant experience in plant or operations management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven record of improving operations and achieving results.</li>\n <li>A minimum of fifteen (15) years in a manufacturing environment with at least seven (7) years of leadership experience.</li>\n <li>Experience in financial planning and budgeting plantwide.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of business functions such as purchasing, sales, finance, marketing, HR, etc.</li>\n <li>Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards, preferably within the distribution transformer industry.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of servant leadership tenants and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, lead teams, and build engagement.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and time-management abilities.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Suite.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career!</strong></p>\n<p> </p> \n<h2>Job Locations</h2>US-TN-Greeneville",
