This environment offers endless career opportunities for individuals with a commitment to customer service, focus on execution and bias for action.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing and assembling various signs, frames, structures, cabinets, and other items designated to the metal shop for fabrication. This role involves using specialized tools, equipment, and techniques to ensure high-quality results while adhering to safety and production standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Fabricate metal components using equipment such as CLN Notcher, CLN Bender, and Letter Lock Punch.</li>\n <li>Form materials into required shapes and dimensions for sign production.</li>\n <li>Install LED wiring and attach letter faces to ensure proper functionality and aesthetic standards.</li>\n <li>Perform trim-out operations on letters using the CLN Quick Trim Notcher.</li>\n <li>Complete necessary documentation, including completion slips, material listings, timecards, and requisition forms.</li>\n <li>Assist with the handling, packing, loading, securing, and unloading of finished goods to ensure safe and proper procedures are followed.</li>\n <li>Maintain flexibility in work hours, including availability for overtime as needed by management.</li>\n <li>Attend meetings and training sessions as required to stay updated on company policies and best practices.</li>\n <li>Perform necessary housekeeping tasks, including cleaning up production debris and properly storing materials and equipment.</li>\n <li>Ensure the care, maintenance, and security of all company resources, tools, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain and perform routine maintenance on work machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in aluminum spool gun welding.</li>\n <li>Basic mechanical and construction knowledge, including an understanding of metals, wood, plastic, blueprints, and fasteners.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of CLN machines, punch presses, press shears, and various power tools used in metal fabrication.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.</li>\n <li>Adequate mathematical skills for fabrication tasks.</li>\n <li>High attention to detail to ensure precision and quality in all work.</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education, experience, certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>1-2 years of fabrication experience required.</li>\n <li>Experience in the sign industry is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical and mental demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand for extended periods while operating machines and tools.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and equipment as required.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Work With Us</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supportive & Friendly Culture</li>\n <li>Manage national accounts for Fortune 500 companies</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision coverage options</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts</li>\n <li>Company paid Life Insurance</li>\n <li>401k with Employer Contribution</li>\n <li>Company paid Short/Long Term Disability</li>\n <li>Generous Paid Time Off program + Holidays</li>\n <li>Career Growth Opportunities and Career Mapping</li>\n <li>Additional perks including Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Educational Assistance Program, Identity Theft Protection, Critical Illness Plans, Commuter Benefits and various employee discount offerings from our Vendors</li>\n</ul>\n<p>eeo/mfdv</p>",
