AO Racing commands attention with its fun liveries and fan-friendly presence.  The iconic liveries of “Rexy” and “Roxy” the T-Rex Porsche 911 GT3 Rawrs and “Spike” the LMP2 Dragon have captivated fans worldwide earning AO Racing a dedicated following.  We are currently competing in both the IMSA WeatherTech & European LeMans Championships.  As we continue to build our programs for the future, we are looking for the right people to grow with us. You’re a systems thinker who can build and maintain processes that keep a race team running smoothly. You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and stay calm under pressure. What You’ll Do Oversee all parts inventory for multiple race programs, ensuring accuracy, availability, and readiness for shop and track operations. Manage ordering, receiving, labeling, stocking, and tracking of all components, consumables, and assemblies. Maintain and optimize the team’s parts management software Lifecheck , ensuring mileage, lifeing, and usage data are always current. Build and maintain standardized processes for inventory control, including reorder points, vendor management, and quality checks. Prepare and pack parts for race and test events, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with series regulations. Collaborate with crew chiefs, mechanics, engineers, and leadership to forecast needs and support car builds, repairs, and development projects. Track component lifing to manufacturer specifications and team standards, ensuring no part exceeds its safe or legal limits. Manage returns, warranty claims, and vendor relationships with professionalism and efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready parts department at all times. Support the team at events, including parts distribution, emergency sourcing, and real-time inventory updates. What You’ll Need Minimum 3 years automotive parts management & ordering experience. Ability to read & interpret motorsport parts manuals and technical documentation. Strong understanding of GT3, LMP2 or similar high-performance race components, assemblies, and lifing requirements (preferred). Proficiency with inventory management systems; experience with Lifecheck is a plus. Strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and data accuracy. Working knowledge of international shipping processes, including carnets, customs documentation, and global logistics. Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS shipping systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, build sheets, and manufacturer documentation. Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and operational staff. Ability to travel extensively to races and tests as required. Ability to lift and move parts and equipment safely in a shop environment. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and prevent issues before they arise.
