Conducts psychological assessments such as the MMPI and assess for ADHD.</li>\n<li>Complete medical progress note after encounter with client.</li>\n<li>Prepare psychological evaluation for the professionals program.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely medical records about each patient, including observations during examinations.</li>\n<li>Comply with all laws applicable to internal medicine, including HIPAA</li>\n<li>Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs in the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UPRISING ADDICTION CENTER</span> service area as assigned by the Medical Director.</li>\n<li>Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education, Training, and Experience Required:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Education: Doctorate Degree is required.</li>\n<li>Experience: 3 years work experience is preferred.</li>\n<li>Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)</li>\n<li>LSBEP License</li>\n<li>ACLS or Advanced Life Support within 12 months of employment, if appropriate</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</em></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Knowledge of industry standards: organization, theory, principles, and research processes, quality improvement and change management techniques, financial analysis, budget process and planning, accreditation and regulatory standards, strategic planning principles, ability to assess nursing care requirements based on nursing principles, scope of practice, and regulatory standards.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects, and potential toxicity.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of PC software programs, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel is required.</li>\n<li>Accurately and timely enters clinical documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) software.</li>\n<li>Written and oral communication skills; must be able to concentrate on work amid distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic.</li>\n<li>Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations such as when verbally or physically confronted in an aggressive manner.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work independently with little supervision in an unstructured environment with multiple demands.</li>\n<li>Reading and writing level that can clearly express or understand complex concepts, assessments, directions and processes or sequences of events.</li>\n<li>Ability to represent the program well in interactions both inside and outside the facility.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of (American Society of Addiction Medicine) ASAM criteria and dual diagnosis clients.</li>\n</ol>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: </span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee/provider to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
