You&#39;ll play a key role in guiding clients through complex challenges while fostering collaboration and innovation within a culture that values unity, service, and continuous growth.</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Be a Trusted Advisor &amp; Collaborate with Clients.</strong> Develop deep expertise in your specialty, maintain a broad understanding of tax concepts, understand client goals, and deliver proactive tax and business solutions.</li><li><strong>Manage Client Relationships &amp; Analyze Needs.</strong> Oversee complex engagements, conduct thorough analyses, and represent clients with integrity before taxing authorities.</li><li><strong>Oversee Tax Preparation.</strong> Review and approve complex tax returns, ensuring quality and compliance.</li><li><strong>Coach &amp; Mentor.</strong> Guide tax seniors, staff, and interns to ensure timely, accurate work and professional growth.</li><li><strong>Grow Your Practice &amp; Drive Business Development.</strong> Contribute to your niche or industry focus through practice development and execute personal marketing and client growth plans.</li><li><strong>Drive Initiatives.</strong> Participate in firm and departmental projects to enhance the team and organization.</li><li><strong>Stay Current &amp; Engage Externally.</strong> Keep up with tax law and professional standards while expanding your network and elevating the profession through community and professional involvement.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university</li><li>CPA certification preferred (Enrolled Agent certification will also be considered)</li><li>A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a strong foundation in tax</li><li>Strong technical knowledge paired with research, analytical, and organizational skills</li><li>Experience with paperless tax preparation and workflow systems</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other common business applications</li><li>Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect across teams and with clients</li><li>A dedication to collaborative teamwork, mentorship, and leadership</li><li>A proactive mindset and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment</li></ul><p><strong>Why HoganTaylor?&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reputation for Excellence:&nbsp;</strong>Join a team recognized as a Best Place to Work in Oklahoma and Arkansas and one of Accounting Today&rsquo;s Best of the Best Firms.
