In this role, you’ll contribute directly to a high‑impact initiative to improve the searchability of Tektronix’s internal documentation as well as help build, enhance, and automate the infrastructure and workflows that power next‑generation oscilloscope development—from CI/CD systems to cloud‑backed automation frameworks. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced DevOps, software, and hardware engineers in an environment centered on hands-on learning, mentorship, and technical growth.\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n You will be paired with a dedicated engineering mentor and contribute to real product development workflows, including CI pipeline enhancements, environment automation, infrastructure reliability improvements, telemetry/observability tooling, usability of AI tools and processes, and more.\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <strong>What You’ll Do</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and operate an internally hosted tool that addresses a long‑standing engineering pain point: fragmented documentation spread across multiple vendors whose search solutions don’t interoperate.</li>\n <li>Support and evolve CI/CD pipelines for platform and test &amp; measurement software teams</li>\n <li>Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to improve engineering velocity and product quality</li>\n <li>Investigate reliability, performance, and infrastructure issues; run targeted experiments and present actionable findings</li>\n <li>Develop tools, scripts, and dashboards for monitoring build health, regression stability, and system performance</li>\n <li>Improve DevOps processes across firmware, application, and system‑level engineering teams</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <strong>Learning &amp; Development</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>During the term, you will gain experience in:</li>\n <li>End‑to‑end DevOps practices for an AI‑powered internal product</li>\n <li>CI/CD workflows, build orchestration, and automation strategies for data pipelines</li>\n <li>Infrastructure‑as‑code, containerization, and reproducible internal environments</li>\n <li>Deployment and operation of internally hosted LLM systems</li>\n <li>Secure handling of export‑controlled data and enforcement of per‑source access controls</li>\n <li>Designing observability for distributed systems (metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards)</li>\n <li>Technical communication tools such as documentation, design reviews, and engineering presentations</li>\n <li>Working within a cross‑functional ecosystem involving multiple vendor platforms</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <strong>Required Qualifications</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.</li>\n <li>Strong programming or scripting fundamentals (Python, Bash, or similar)</li>\n <li>Understanding of CI/CD concepts and source‑control workflows</li>\n <li>Strong problem‑solving skills, especially in automation or distributed systems tooling</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly (written and verbal)</li>\n <li>&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)</li>\n <li>Experience with containerization or virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)</li>\n <li>Exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible)</li>\n <li>Experience with data ingestion, ETL, or API integration across systems</li>\n <li>Understanding of monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience working with documentation platforms such as SharePoint, Jira, or GitHub</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira and Git-based workflows<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-KJ1</p>",
